I figured why not share it with the world? How would you describe your personal style?Fearless, innovative embregts-genealogie.nl , versatile. How do you feel about the term “plus size?”I personally don’t think there needs to be a label. I can understand why companies do but fashion is fashion. Plus size differs with different companies, people, the media, so where does it start and what does it even really matter?Labeling a larger size shouldn’t be an issue when it comes to wanting to feel good in clothes. Some people look at it as positive, some people don’t. I prefer not to use it and just think it’s unnecessary. I wouldn’t want anyone to feel like an outcast because they’re labeled something. What’s your body-image mantra? What other people think of me is none of my business. How do you try and inspire other women to feel good about their bodies?Just by trying to be who I am fully, and showing many sides of me so women and men are able to feel like themselves and be who they truly are unapologetically.Photo: Nadia AboulhosnHow do you respond to negative comments on social media?Sometimes I don’t even catch them, sometimes I’ll ignore them if it’s about my size or if I’m ugly. But when someone comments on my character or slut-shames or says “I shouldn’t be wearing that,” depending on how I feel, I usually say a few things. What women do you look up to and why?Oprah—she didn’t let her bad experiences in life ruin her ultimate goals and outcomes. Also Angelina Jolie because of the amount of humanitarian work she does. What’s been your career highlight so far?Being able to make my own clothes. How has your life changed since your blog took off?I’m able to pay bills! Seriously though, it makes me feel a little more fulfilled because I’m able to help people. What would you be doing if you weren’t a blogger and model?I’d probably be a personal organizer or commit myself full-time to bringing awareness to some of the issues in the Middle East. What are your favorite fashion brands?Nasty Gal, ASOS, Boohoo, Missguided, Nike, and Adidas. What swimsuit brand are you wearing this summer?I love the swimsuits at NastyGal.Photo: Nadia AboulhosnWhat style of bathing suit?A high-cut, two-piece bathing suit. What’s the one thing you would never wear?Uggs.Catch Nadia Aboulhosn as a panelist at Create & Cultivate Chicago, a conference for female digital entrepreneurs.
